So I have tried my fair share of "fresh cooking"
Opens at 5 for dinner. You sit with others which I think it's fun to start new friendship.
I got the chicken with no seeds. No need to choke. Lol
I had coke to drink and water and my group was of 3 of us. And ordered the same thing.
Salad was delicious
Soup was good
Appetizer was shrimp
Rice was good the added meat was nice touch
Veggies were very good -

I've been coming to this restaurant since i was an infant, and it has never failed me. The sesame chicken is amazing and juicy. The steak is tender and delicious. Plus the veggies, soup, and salad they offer are tremendous. I highly recommend a California roll as well!
The new ownership seemed to have put a damper on what was a bustling, yet hidden spot. I highly recommend the food here.
Some of the staff have been here years and really take care of you while you're enjoying a great meal! Kudos! -

Rats???
Went here for Dinner tonight on my daughters recommendation with my daughter and my BFF. Should have checked Yelp first. Place is very run down. Dirty looking carpets/counters/chairs/plates ect. For the cleanliness and expense....I would prefer to go to Benihana.
The ladies bathroom was disgusting and needed and complete remodel. Paint peeling of stalls, holes in ceiling, light fixture wires wrapped in black tape, dirty floors/stalls/sinks. I mentioned to my friend that I think they might have rats after visiting the restroom. (Should have taken photos)
The food was below average for a teppanyaki style restaurant. The food was decent, however, I thought it was bland.
The service was very good. Staff was friendly. Bartender was very nice too.
After dinner, when I returned home, my husband told me that he saw bad reviews on Yelp. Rat infestation last year Jan 2018. I was not surprised at all by what I saw tonight. You would think that they would have had ample time to not only address the Vermin infestation, but to also put and little effort into cleaning it up. Needless to say.... I will not be returning.
My advice to the owner: shut down/remodel/relocate. The condition of your business gives me the impression that you do not care much for your business or your customers. -

Tokyo Kitchen has been a family favorite for 20+ years. Went on Sunday to celebrate family members birthdays and, after not having been in quite a while, we were extremely disappointed. While our chef was great, the food was not near as good as in the past. Being a hot summer day, the restaurant was so hot we were all sweating and uncomfortable. My daughter in law had to ask the management to crank up the ac with barely any relief. The restaurant is old and desperately needs updating and was not the cleanest. With the teppan grills, it had to be 85+ inside which made enjoying our meal near impossible. We won't be going back! Will be trying one of the many options in Rancho Cucamonga next time.

My husband and I had dinner here on Friday night and we both agreed we won't be back for a very long time. I had never been here and we were looking to try something different.
This place is definitely run-down and has an odor once you walk in. The staff was pretty friendly and the food was decent but you definitely do not get enough for the price you pay. My husband ordered the sesame chicken and I ordered the New York steak and the portion sizes are a bit of a joke. What you're paying for is definitely the "show" and compared to other chefs at other tables, ours was a bit on the weak side. I caught myself watching other chefs far more than our own.
You also are sat next to strangers during your meal and have to wait until they all order to get your meal. This isn't a big deal except that they try and fit so many chairs next to each other so everyone is sitting on top of one another. In our section alone, we moved out at least three chairs just to have some space.
What saved our visit was a busser named Victor. He was so extremely friendly and he never let our drinks go unfilled. He was really genuine and made us feel more welcomed than anyone else we met in the restaurant.
I would save your money here and go to Shoguns (but invite our new friend Victor)!
